October - December Round Up

Carantok the ram went to work with the ewes, and he appears to have been successful, so we will see what March brings!  In November we took 2 lambs to Helston Show, and although we didn't win anything, we enjoyed entering as it's a great opportunity to catch up with farming friends. We also started balling the wool in preparation for sale at the Jubilee Pool Christmas Fair which was held in December, and was both great fun and very successful for us.

Completed building second cider press, finished picking all fruit & pressed during several sessions in October.  The long slow fermentation has now started!  Cider sales were quite strong at the Jubilee Pool Christmas Fair in December and our cider was also used as the base for the mulled cider sold by the Pool Cafe (which was delicious!)

A new 'Stennack' t-shirt has been produced, and we may order more for sale next year (organic, sustainable, 100% cotton).
